The newest program from Emmaus Ministries, Village Encounter, provides space for adult participants to experience God’s grace in new and transformative ways. It seeks to renew Christians in their faith and further inspire, challenge, and equip them for Christian leadership in the various spheres of their lives. The Village Encounter allows churches to give participants their Emmaus Ministries experience without the expense of travel.
The Caribbean Village Encounter is designed to highlight the ability of Village Encounter to build meaningful Christian community among participants from various Caribbean islands. It also serves to encourage participation from individuals in the region who may not otherwise have the opportunity to engage, while fostering growth in areas with limited infrastructure and resources for Emmaus Ministries events.
The virtual experience begins with an invitation to a deeper journey with the risen Lord and continues, throughout its seven sessions, to move participants to new levels of openness and commitment as disciples of Christ. This event will also be a wonderful opportunity for Emmaus Ministries communities and local churches interested in hosting the Village Encounter to experience it firsthand.
While this event emphasizes participation from the Caribbean, it is not limited to the region—all are welcome to join and experience this transformative journey of faith and discipleship.
